divorce but how do I rent a place with no income and 3 kids

My soon to be ex filed divorce uncontested…I have not received any paper work yet, I don’t have any funds besides credit cards that he put in my name to help build my credit knowing I didn’t have an income…he just paid them all off though and I still don’t understand adult life and the credit card world…(yes I know I have to learn now I have no other option)

He owns a home that was pre martial property meaning he bought the house while we were dating not married so my names on nothing…my kids have an entire life here with their friends and schools…I also have a little one who is not in school. I stay at home with them and always have…we have only been married for 2 years but been together 10 years…basically we never talk anymore but still live under the same roof…sleep separate etc..he called me today just to tell me to take this divorce and situation seriously that he is selling his home to afford to pay to rent his own place and one for me (I kept saying how on earth am I NOT taking it seriously I mean idk what to do I have 3 kids to worry about) then asked if my parents agreed to co sign for the rental and I told him they refused to do that because it goes onto their credit and they feel he’s screwed me enough…what can I do with no proof of income ? He said he can compensate the 2 years of marriage just by giving me the money or paying for the kids and me to have our own place in the same area only for a year then that’s it…

Anyone have more knowledge on this? what can I do? No I have nowhere else to go!

Get me a place to compensate I guess the 2 years we’ve been married

I have no proof of income he’s telling me either my parents have to co sign or I’m screwed type deal (my parents highly refused)

Told me once the house is up for sale and divorce is done I have to go under law. (Which I know but it feels so messed up considering we have 3 kids
