how would you spell

I thought it was a dream come true when I told my husband I’ve always wanted to name my son Malakai… until we figured out we want it spelled different ways.

I want it spelled Malakai because his nickname will ultimately end up being Kai, so I feel like it makes sense that it’s spelled malaKAI

my husband doesn’t like the way it looks and prefers Malachai because he thinks it looks better.

We are both too stubborn to give in to one another so we agreed that this would be the tie breaker!! Whichever one has more votes will be the spelling. :)
