Deceased mother in laws stuff all over my house

My mother in law passed away two years ago.

She had a lot of stuff- like a lot. She loved decorations and little knickknacks, and they were all over her house. Her kitchen counter was full of little figurines, little decorations, she had shelves loaded up, every inch of her coffee table, and end tables had stuff on in. Picture frames, little Angel figurines, precious moment dolls, candles, candle holders, candy dishes, spoon rests, salt and pepper shakers, little figurines of people, fake fruit everywhere.

Her walls were also loaded up, paintings from like hundreds of years ago, apple signs, a million decorations hung up

My husband is an extremely sentimental person and has a very difficult time getting rid of things. We inherited all these things. They are all over my house, and i know I’m going to sound like a bitch, but it’s driving me crazy. I hate having these things all over my house. I can’t even see my kitchen counter, and it bothers me. My kitchen and living room walls are full of her old things. Before she passed, I hated little knickknacks, and little decorations, and never had them in my house. I don’t like the clutter look. On my kitchen counter I had my microwave, my toaster, and for Christmas a little Santa cookie jar. Now I have all the little things and it gives me anxiety, my head is spinning because there is just so much. STUFF I am constantly having to move things around when I’m cooking. Plus my mother in laws style is really just so different than mine.

I feel like my house isn’t even mine anymore.

I should have never put all these things out, but I was trying to be respectful towards my husband, and I thought they would bring him comfort. But now he doesn’t want to get rid of them.
