Normal or er visit?

So im 3 months post csection and Im still bleeding. Ill stop for a week then it’ll start bleeding again for a few days and stop again. Its bright red and im not soaking through pads or anything, but ill pass a small clot here and there. I do cramp but its not excruciating pain, similar to period cramps. I called the er and they told me to try and get in contact with my ob to see what he says, but I haven’t heard back from him. I have an appointment Tuesday and im not sure if to just wait until then or go into the emergency room.
