Subchorionic hematoma

Jessica

We had our dating scan yesterday. Doctor said baby looks perfect. He/she was wriggling all over the place during the scan and it was amazing.

She did say she thinks I have a subchorionic hematoma and will be doing another ultrasound at 14 weeks (currently 11+6) to check on it. With my son, my Dr wouldn't even see me before 12 weeks, and the night before my first appointment, I had a very strong bleed. Wound up in the ER, sure I was miscarrying. I now have a healthy almost 8 year old. Since I wasn't seen before that, they couldn't confirm what caused the bleed, but I have a suspicion it was a subchorionic hematoma.
