WAS THIS KINDA RUDE ?

I went to the customer service desk at a store and no one was the desk so I waited for someone to come. Next thing I know someone from behind be stated how can I help you out loud across the room ? Instead of waiting until she walks in front of me to ask how can I help you ? She expected me to turn my body around and address her out in the open for everyone to hear when I’m facing the desk where she should be. I never turned around I just stated what I needed while she was behind me , and then she was like huh instead of waiting until she got to the desk , once I told her to her face what I needed she then said I have to see if that can be done basically making a excuse not to help me in my point of view .
