2 year old says no to everything

She recently learned the word “no”. For awhile, she was answering yes/no to things appropriately. All of a sudden, she is saying no to everything! Even things I know she for sure wants.

How do I go about this? Do I go along with her “no” ? Do I correct her when I know she for sure means yes?

I’ve been doing a combo of that but not sure if that’s right. For example, bananas are one of her fav foods. Im slicing up a banana and ask if she wants some. She says “no”. I say “oh you don’t want banana?” She will cry she didn’t get some of the banana that I offered her. Then I say “I think you meant yes, you do want some banana” and give her a piece

Is that how I should be handling? Any advice?
