I know obviously no one can answer this question, because who knows, but those who are nurses and have had patients in the ICU in “very critical condition” who has been bleeding internally since Wednesday (although slowing down it has not stopped) due to ruptured varices, what are the chances of survival? :(

My mother has been intubated and on ventilator since Wednesday. Found her on the floor with blood everywhere on Wed and called the ambulance. She was throwing up blood everywhere. It’s a ruptured varices stemming from liver disease. :(

I’m mortified. Seeing her in ICU with all the machines.. it’s horrible. :(
