House renovations with a newborn…

Does anyone have advice on having home renovations with a newborn safely….? Has anyone done it here?

Our bathroom needs to be redone as it’s so old and the toilet and bath are broken (just moved in a month ago) anyway we have a 2 week old newborn and I’m so worried about the dust? Anyone have any advice on minimising the damage? Should I just stay with my mother while it’s being done- if I do my partner can’t due to the distance from work so I’m just stuck.
