So after giving birth to my first baby I had been walking around in one of my depends diapers in my room but with a shirt on. The nurse knocked on my door and immediately walked in and she sort of looked me up and down and made a weird face but then walked over to my baby and said “okay dad! You want to learn how to change baby girls diaper?” And I too was curious I’ve only ever changed a boys diaper so I said I wanted to watch too and I walk over to my daughter and the nurse in a sharp tone goes “so, what, are you just going to be there in your diaper?” And I was confused and I said “am I not allowed to be? I didn’t think it mattered” and she goes “just making sure you’re comfy” like what? She sounded and looked as if I was totally wrong to stand in my diaper when I was completely comfortable and didn’t want tight pants on my stomach.
