No coverage makeup??

Question

So I have multiple full coverage foundations but they are never full coverage on my skin they’re barely there why is that? I use a brush for application and I’ve tried a damp beauty blender and it completely takes all of it off

I use Estée Lauder double wear or Clinique tinted moisturiser they’re both great coverage…. The Estée Lauder more so because it’s a full coverage foundation

It's either poor quality foundations or user error with your technique. 
Which foundations have you tried? Beauty blenders give shit application in my experience, they've never worked for me. I use either a flat or a round Kabuki brush (from Sigma). Wayne Goss or Pampered Wolf on YouTube both have tutorials about getting a "flawless" foundation application.

maybe your skin? do you moisturize your skin before you apply foundation? i have normal/oily skin so most of foundation i’ve tried always blend in so well with my skin. I dont have major acnes or anything so i just need a lil bit of foundation to even out my skin tone… here are my fav:
Mac
Dior forever, glowy one (have to use Dior primer to prep to prevent the oil from my skin)

Stop using the damp beauty blender. Use your fingers instead. ￼Any type of applicator or brush is going to thin out the make up, add water to that and it’s going to be an even lighter coverage. Use your fingers and pat it on and use your fingers to blend and you will have full coverage.
