If you are breastfeeding or pumping? I heard sometimes it takes awhile for your period too come back..I didn’t get morning sickness when I found out I was pregnant just sore boobs n I just took a test for fun .

If you have unprotected sex - By taking a test, or tracking your ovulation.

My period came back at 8m pp while I was still breastfeeding, so I was tracking my cycle because we wanted to TTC at 12m pp. and then when I hit 15dpo with no period I took a test.
