Classmate/crush

One of my classmates always sits next to me and we don’t have a seating chart. He is always the first one to say hi to me when. I walk in and asks me how I am. If we have group/partner projects he chooses me. He teases me but I’m not sure if it’s in a mean way or if he likes me back. What should I do?
