Is taking care of a toddler and new born hard?

I have a 2.5 year old daughter and just found out we are expecting baby #2🥳 My daughter will be 3 when the baby comes. Moms can you share your experience was your toddler in the delivery room? Taking care of a toddler and a newborn adjusting. Did your toddler go to school during the day? How did your toddler adjust to the new baby & sharing you. Taking care of a newborn all night & then caring for your toddler throughout the day. Any routines you found that made things easier? Did your SO help out a lot? Anything you would like to share would be very helpful. 💕

My son is 4- so slightly older and THANK GOD school starts at 4 in the UK. I am getting zero sleep atm / obviously my son is 3 weeks old. I sleep well from 5am-8am- look after my son when husband leaves and take him to school, then sleep again when baby does in the morning. Do a TINY bit of house work, seemingly breast feed all day, and then pick up son. I babywear and it really, really helps. I will admit that my 4 year old gets too much TV atm, but we always do reading, writing practice and magazine activities in the evenings to balance it out. We plan 'treats'/low key days out for our eldest as well as much as we can. I do a lot of handing out in bed with my eldest whilst I feed- we do a lot of pretend play, read together or watch something to try and balance out my tirednesss

Yes it's hard. I had a 25 month old when I had my daughter and now I have a 3.5 yr old a 29 month old and having a new baby in 3 months.  All parenting is hard. 
It helps a bit having a schedule but kids are crazy lol

Honestly, it depends on your kids. My kids will be 6, 4, and 2 when my new baby arrives in January. My 2 y/o will make the transition difficult because he's very clingy and a complete Mama's boy. I am expecting quite a bit of jealousy. 
When my youngest was born, my other two were 3.5 & 21 months. That was relatively easy, despite the fact that my middle one is autistic. He is extremely independent and wasn't jealous. He also preferred to have nothing to do with the baby because he is not social. And my 3.5 y/o was my little helper. Loved the baby and wanted to be involved in every way. 
My eldest was 21 months old when my second was born. He didn't experience jealousy, wasn't clingy, and loved his brother very much. He wanted to help in any way he could so I made sure to involve him in every way possible. But he's always been very emotionally intelligent and was always understanding of sometimes having to wait when he wanted to do something because the baby needed something first. 
I'm expecting my 6 y/o & my 4 y/o to handle it well again and probably react the same way as they have in the past. But my youngest? Oh lord. He's not going to take well to having me holding a baby all the time. He doesn't even like when the dog sits close to me because HE needs to be touching me all the time. Can't even go to the bathroom without him or he screams at the door (dad works nights so I can't leave him screaming in the hallway.) 
Also expecting it to be more difficult because my eldest is in kindergarten & my middle one is in pre-k. So we have to get up early. And you'd think getting two kids out of the way most of the day would make it easier but no.. because they're my easy kids and I'm left with the emotional whirlwind child still at home 😭 
But I've also only ever had vaginal births. I can see how it would be difficult despite the toddler's personality if there was a c-section. I'm sincerely hoping I can have another vaginal birth because there is no way I can do a c-section. My husband doesn't get paternity leave and there's NO way I could get away with not picking up my special needs 4 y/o for six weeks. He's nonverbal and doesn't understand "Hey, get in the car" so he still has to be lifted into his seat. He's also still in diapers. And I can't pull him out of pre-k for that time because he gets his therapies there & he'd still have to be lifted in & out of the car to take his brother to kindergarten anyway.
