Curly/Wavy hair help!!

Heyy,

Just a cry out to see if anyoneee has any advice or tips!! My hair naturally has some wave/very loose curl to it - my mums hair is perfect ringlets and relatively tightly coiled💆‍♀️ Whenever I sweat/after a run etc, I get these really cute little curls at the back of my neck and around the front of my head but the main bulk of my hair just looks generally frizzy or undefined and tangly.

I want to get some proper definition to the curls/waves but don’t know where to start! 🤔

I’ve attached some pics of the ringlets after a run and then just my hair normally after a shower.

Anyyyy advice would be super helpful! 💗
