Tap water in neti pot…. HELP‼️‼️

So I have a really bad infection or cold and it caused me to lose my voice. It’s been going on for almost a week. I decided to try a neti pot and I didn’t see at the bottom of the box not to use tap water. I didn’t boil the water but I did use the saline packet. I’ve resined with it 3 times before I realized it and now I’m scared because I’ve read that it’s possible to contract a flesh eating bacteria in the brain. Will the saline packet kill bacteria? What should I do?!!! 😢🥺😳😨😰😥😓
