Nausea while eating - second trimester
Hi all -
So I had some pretty bad morning sickness in the first trimester, I never threw up, but I would be extremely nauseous the whole day and wouldn’t be able to eat anything. Luckily it stopped in the second trimester, but over the past few weeks I’ve noticed a different symptom. I’m not nauseous when I wake up, or smell food, but as soon as I take the first bite, before I even swallow, the nausea sets in. This has been happening with almost everything. It usually goes away about 10-20 minutes after eating, but it makes the whole process of eating pretty unbearable.
Everything I look up the answer is “morning sickness” and “nausea after eating” but this isn’t that. My OB didn’t give me any great advice - I was wondering is anyone here has gone through the same thing.
