hi my 2 .month old has really watery eyes . its been like that for 3 weeks now . how can i help it?

the only thing happening is the watery eyes , no redness no swelling . i read that its blocked tear duct but its soooo watery . help

Use a cotton ball or wash cloth and cooled boiled water to clean the eye, from the outside corner to the inside corner. Use a new cotton ball or corner of the washcloth for each eye.
Unless there’s redness or pus it’s not likely infected and will clear up in time (and yes it can take a few weeks!)

My baby girl had that a few months ago, they told me to clean it often with a cotton ball with warm water and if she'd let me, put a warm washcloth on it frequently throughout the day. Make sure baby's fingernails were trimmed as for her not to injure it while scratching at it. To watch for redness, swelling, fever or signs of infection. It took a couple of weeks but it eventually drained and healed properly, I did call a nurse line about it and was told it was a blocked tear duct, took her into the Dr and made sure it wasn't infected. Basically cleaned it often so it wouldn't matt shut on her and she recovered.

Has your baby got an infection? Could be a blocked tear duct. Maybe take him/her to the doctor to get looked at.
