Help me understand this

Hello ladies, i had a Misscariage on the 14th of September at 11 weeks.

My first period after Misscariage came on the 9th of November and this morning I decide to test just to check my hcg because if I had my period this means there is no hcg left in my body.

Well it’s still positive but I don’t know why would I still be getting a positive if my cycle has started

Is it left over hcg or new pregnancy?

I have no symptoms just a flu and cramping on left side from time to time.
