Jw if anyone else is struggling this Christmas? I’m a little extra emotional tonight as I sat down to pay bills/figure out some more Christmas gifts. Hubby is unemployed and got laid off about 3 weeks ago. We have yet to get a check. He had a meeting today with his boss and typically they give a good bonus (past years we’re $1,000-1,500) they gave him $500 today and after taxes it was $382… I have only been able to buy 3 gifts for each of our kids (we have 3) and I’m really starting to stress and feel bad because I dont know if we’re gonna be able to afford to even have some of our family traditions (going to the Christmas lights at zoo) because money is so tight this year. I wasn’t working longer than I had intended due to baby having lip and tongue tie so I am just now back to work and my income isn’t that much compared to my husband’s. We were hoping to get them one big gift (the nugget) for Christmas and idk if we’ll have the $ for this either. I know I should be grateful; we have a roof over our head, heat, warm water, food, etc. but just the prices of everything seems to keep going up and I want to give my babies the world and I’m feeling so guilty that we can’t afford to give them more…
