What do you do with your pet when you work full time?

I have a dog that has separation anxiety mainly being left alone for long periods of time. She can't be left in the home not kenneled because she potties in the house and tears things up. She can't be left outside either because she will bark all day and it's really hot where I live.

Either kennel them or take them to doggy daycare.

People think kennels can be unkind, but when they keep your dog safe, which if they tear into things when no one is home they could get into something that could hurt them. I would kennel the dog, make sure it's big enough for them to lay comfortably.

I lock mine in the bathroom. He cant be left with toilet paper or the trashcan. He also has seperation anxiety. He just barks and howls when no one is home 🙄

Honestly I think the best option is to find a really good daycare where your dog won't be left alone.

I now work from home full time, but when I worked, id leave on my lunch break to let him out and spend some time with him so it wasn’t a big chunk of alone time. He also did really well with activity toys like a kong or a treat ball. That also got him excited for us to leave. We also put a snug tee shirt on him. He’s a 250lb mastiff so crating him isn’t an option.

We caged him and I would check on him during my lunch break so he was never locked up for long period of time. You could do doggy daycare as well.
