I had my

baby on November 28th and got sent home on November 30th. I was prescribed a blood pressure medication to take twice daily because my levels were a little elevated in the 140s over 90s. I go home take medicine as prescribed and last night I got a head ache. I sat down and took my blood pressure it was 150-100. I waited 15 minutes I took it again and it 160/106. I call labor and delivery and they tell me to come in to get checked out. By the time I got to the hospital my headache was pretty much gone away and I didn’t feel bad. I go in and my blood pressure is 210/110. My long story is just to say take care of yourself postpartum and make sure to keep your blood pressure checked and written down. I am so thankful I sat down and took my blood pressure from a headache and ended up in the hospital instead of having a seizer/stroke at home with my two toddlers and newborn baby. I hope you ladies have safe deliveries and that you have an easy quick recovery. And congratulations to all the babies already born in the group. This is my baby just to show her off a little ❤️
