Long story short. We just had a disagreement a week or so ago and wasn’t talking for a few bc he lied about going out w her and his son and her dtr. We made up he said he would be honest but today says this 
I feel like since u pleaded to make it work, u kind of wouldn’t be doing the same thing over again. Sounds like I’m just getting picked over. It just seems weird then again idk any healthy Bm & BD relationships but this scenario doesn’t have anything to do w the kid

My opinion is that it’s about the children. If the children are going to the graduation, and want dad to be there, then he should be there. ￼People need to learn how to put their feelings about each other aside and prioritize children. ￼

Girl I think that man wants his family back. I get hanging out for the kids once in a while or for a birthday/ special event but I would not be going out of my way to be there for special events of her life .. speaking from experience as my son is 10 and been coparenting since he was 2 with a healthy coparenting situation.

By him making the attempt to put on a united front, getting along with a supporting his child's mother he has shown to know what is important in life. His children and their mental and physical well being is of tantamount importance.
His children should always come first, even above you. If you can't handle being #2...then it's in your best interest to end the relationship and find someone else without children.

It’s a big no for my me. I understand healthy relationships for the kids but there has to be boundaries set. My ex was the same way and they both were honest at telling me they did things together. I didn’t care until they started planning trips together and she would show up to our house uninvited. I was so naive ￼a year later she told me she was 3 months pregnant by my ex boyfriend and how it wasn’t supposed to happen it just did. She said they were both drinking. If you’re uncomfortable leave the situation!

IMO, this has nothing to do with the kids and I wouldn’t be comfortable with it either. My partner has children from a previous relationship and he does not show up for her. He takes care of his kids and they have a pretty decent coparenting relationship as In talk about the kids only type and that’s that. Clear boundaries. Nothing more nothing less.
