What do I do? Rishta

I’m 31, desi, women, been living abroad since the past 10 years. We are from a middle class family, but family is well known in the community. My parents have been pressuring me for marriage. I haven’t dated much as i always felt like I needed to make my parents happy. Focus on studies, and work. I tried meeting people online but never found the guy. I am open to arrange marriages but the kind of guys my family bring me as a match are not the kind of people I ever thought they would think for me. I respect the guys, but honestly, I know we won’t match in terms of our expectations, experience and lifestyle. They bring guys who are almost 40, i grew up in the city, but they bring matches from the countryside and say that’s the best for me. They say I am getting old. The type of men they bring for mariage really hurts me and shows how much they respect me. I think they just want me to get married just for the sake of it. They don’t care whether thee guy is from a good family, is good or has a stable job. I mean, they bring guys in 40s, never married!! Lol

I don’t think I am better than those guys, it’s just I know we won’t go together. They guys on the other hand, gets excited since I have a foreign passport and work abroad even though i am not much to look at.
