Adults with HFM

So basically I’m pretty sure I have HFM, three days ago I had a slight sore throat and kind of achy nothing serious but definitely thought a cold for sure. The next day I felt fine but still little sore throat, meanwhile the whole time I had one blister on my foot that felt like a splinter but I thought it was my boots from work (I work in a factory) didn’t think anything if it until yesterday when I got little red dots on my hands and only a couple feel like a tiny splinter. The problem is my kids don’t even have it and I have no idea where I got it. I’m not worried about me but I’m worried about my kids getting it now 😞 I haven’t been coughing or sneezing, no fever, my red dots aren’t leaking anything. Has anyone had HFM and their kids not get it?
