I'm 19 weeks and 2 days today and for the last 3 days I've been feeling my baby kick for the first time. Like 'there's no way it's not the baby' kicking. And of course they're kicking my bladder.

My anatomy scan was finally scheduled and I'll be almost 21 weeks at that appointment. I can't wait to find out what I'm having. I think I'm going to have to have a Christmas gender reveal.

This is my first baby to make it past 10 weeks. I've had 6 miscarriages in the past 10 years and this pregnancy has been miserable so far but I've been enjoying every minute of it. I thought I'd never get to experience this and in the misery of morning sickness, back pain, headaches, congestion, aversions, etc. I couldn't be happier than my body finally is letting me be a mother. I'm so excited to bring this new life into the world. I can't wait to see my husband fulfill his dream of being a stay at home dad.
