When do you fill up on gas ⛽️ ?

When the light comes on. My partners hate it 😂😂😂 They always keep their tanks full and I’m the complete opposite. I have never ran out of gas though.

1/2 tank. Especially in cold winter months. Any lower and it can easily ruin your fuel pump. And really running until light comes on or below a 1/4 tank can easily ruin the fuel pump any time of year. Fuel pump going out while driving is not good and you will be stuck right where you are. Plus they are $$$$$ to replace.

1/2 a tank. Letting it go until the light comes on can destroy your fuel pump. My dad drilled that into me as soon as I started driving. Letting it get to 1/4 a tank occasionally or even under is not that big of a deal once or twice. But letting it consistently get that low can wear out or damage your fuel pump. 
I did let it get to 1/4 a tank or even until the light came on often when I moved out because I couldn't afford to fill it up before. And I actually did have to end up replacing the fuel pump on that car. But it was an old beater mustang that I had to replace a LOT of things on over the years I had it.

Around 1/4 tank. Our climate has extreme high and low temperatures, so having low fuel is not a good choice for the vehicle or personal safety.

I used to fill up when the light came one. Until my car fucked me over and ran out of gas when it said it had 40 miles left. I was literally trying to start it to drive to the gas station. Now I wait until like 1/3 of a tank is left. I ain’t risking it anymore.

When the light comes on and them some.  I think the lowest I've ever let it get is with 9 miles to go.
