My husbands sick. Should I sleep in living room?

My family just got over Covid last week. Now he’s sick again, with what he thinks is acute bronchitis. His Covid test was negative. The rest of us aren’t sick (yet)
He’s mainly been away in our room for the last couple days while he’s been feeling sick but today he’s really sick now. Should I sleep in a dif room or does it not matter anymore at this point? I slept in our bed with him last night. Dumb poll, sorry I’m stuck on what to do lol. Would def rather have my bed but I’d rather not get sick too.
Not sure if I’ll even get sick tho considering I just got over COVID not even a week ago, I can’t believe he is sick again

I said no because bronchitis isn’t contagious. The cause of bronchitis is contagious. As you mentioned y’all just got over the COVID. COVID causes bronchitis.

His bronchitis is likely from Covid. With that said, it depends on how bad is his coughing at night. If he’s coughing a lot, I would sleep in the living room. For me, it’s not so much about how contagious he is, as much as how I’m going to get any sleep. ￼

If everyone was sick and now he has bronchitis, its just the lingering aftermath of being sick. Bronchitis isnt contagious. Now if everyone had covid, and he didnt and now he does....idk about that. It took several days for me to have a positive covid test, even when I had all the worst symptoms. If he doesnt get butthurt about u sleeping somewhere else, I would.
