Matching your highend foundation with a drug store one

Hi ladies, so I was wondering how do you ladies match your drug store foundation? I usually wear the Estée Lauder double wear in the shade rattan but it’s a little too expensive so wear it everyday. I was wondering how can I match it to a drug store one ?

Mix it with a moisturiser or sunscreen so it makes it thinner which will last longer. I don’t like how thick it is so I put it with sunscreen. I wouldn’t know how to match its colour because this is all I wear. Maybe go to the store you buy it and ask them to help you find a colour in  another brand?
