He hasn’t gotten me anything for Christmas..

I don’t want to ever come off as childish at all and I understand the true meaning of Christmas isn’t gift giving. He’s asked me several times what I’ve wanted and I said a sweater or a necklace or even my favorite candy and he just asked me if I’d be upset if he still hasn’t gotten me anything.

I do the gifting for our family and extended family.

There have been birthdays where he didn’t get me anything or even a simple happy birthday.

It doesn’t make sense.. he says Christmas and giving gifts is his favorite time of the year but he hasn’t put the effort into getting his son or his wife a gift.
