do doctors check to see if baby is breech closer to delivery? I won’t be getting anymore ultrasounds and my last appointment my doctor told me my baby was breech which she still has plenty of time to turn bc i’m only 25 weeks. just wondering.. I had a last trimester ultrasound my last pregnancy around 36 weeks and my baby was breech. she ended up turning right before I delivered

It's a technique called belly mapping. You can look it up and learn how to tell baby's position yourself too , it's pretty cool and helps you stay on top of getting baby in an optimal position for birth

Mine was with an ultrasound. She was breech and 3 days later she flipped and I was 37 weeks

They can tell by feeling your stomach. If they determine baby is breech they may do another ultrasound to determine what type of breech position baby is in. The likelihood of baby staying breech is pretty low, though.
