Is it normal for it to be really irritating to put in tampons? They’re fine once they’re in and I can’t feel them but when I have to put one in it’s so uncomfortable and irritating it almost hurts. It’s not bad taking them out if it’s full but uncomfortable sometimes. I had a baby 2 years ago and got my period again last year but I dint remember tampons bothering me so much taking them in and out.

Tampons were pretty uncomfortable for me after I had my first baby. I switched to a cup and it was so much better.

No. Either you’re trying to put them in dry or using the wrong size.

Did you get stitches after having your baby? I had a 2nd degree tear, and couldn’t use tampons after that, even years later, because it was just too uncomfortable due to the vaginal scarring.

If you're not bleeding enough it can be irritable to push in & take out. Use liners on those days
