Hi everyone,

So our NIPT results came back positive for trisomy 21. We decided to get an amnio done to have a better idea whether or not baby has it. During the ultrasound prior to the amnio, the tech was not able to find any markers at all that showed DS. We finally got our results back, and they said the results came back negative for trisomy 21, but they found something else! She said baby has an extra piece (not whole) of chromosome 16. Has anyone ever gotten these news? And what was the outcome?
