Brown spotting 16 weeks

I’m currently 16 weeks. Starting some brown light spotting 2 days ago but only when I wipe. I also started coughing just before because my husband had his fan on and now I’m congested: called the on all nurse because my OB is closed today and said as long as it doesn’t turn pink, red gets heavy or I get uncomfortable pain wise then I should be ok. I’ve got my usual a cramps and aches I’ve had for weeks so that hasn’t changed. Just heard fhr on the 27th. Anyone gone through this?
