Bleeding after cervical exam, need advice

I had a cervical exam this morning around 11:30 (it’s now almost 4:30)
I just went to the bathroom and had soaked through a liner. Is that too much bleeding or to be expected?
I’ve had exams before and only had light spotting. Called my ob office and the nurse I spoke with seemed to brush it off and I didn’t feel listened to.
