Ok for some background I had my daughter nearly 14 years ago no pain meds all natural vaginal birth. I was going to have my son the same ten years ago but he was frank breech and my bag was bulging so we did an emergency c-section. Now I’m nearing the end of my third pregnancy, I’m a perfect candidate for a Vbac which I want to do however I have previously been diagnosed with spinal stenosis and have heard the epidural or spinal can worsen spinal stenosis after the fact. I have spoke with my Dr who keeps saying she’s going to get me a referral for an anesthesiologist consult but hasn’t yet and in all honesty has not maintained my pregnancy well at all, to the extent of prescribing meds I’m allergic to, not calling in scripts, not scheduling my glucose test after telling me that’s what I’m coming back for, etc. it’s been a mess. I’m just curious if any of you ladies have used the epidural or spinal while having spinal stenosis or other spinal issues/injuries?
