Am I wrong?

Am I in the wrong for not wanting my 4 year old to play violent video games? I like games but I don't like my 4 year old Playing violent ones. I only let him play an hour or so is how long I let him play a game that long. Well my god brother let's his kids (9&7 ) play and watch what ever they want always has . Well they brought there game systems to play and like I said my son is 4 so he doesn't have any game systems well they will say they want him to play with them and actually just want him to watch them play. And like I said I don't mind games I just don't like violent ones for him and the kids asked if he could play a violent game and I said no because I didn't think it was appropriate well then my son's dad and my god brother are like it's not violent and you can't talk to people so its fine. If you have to shoot people it's a violent game! Right?
