I asked him if we could wait

My husband & I haven’t had sex in while to preface this so maybe he just couldn’t wait anymore? He climbed on top of me and I kind of kept pushing my body up as I wasn’t really wanting to have sex tonight. I asked him if we could just wait or even just use a condom if we must do it because I don’t want to get pregnant again yet.

He must have been really excited because he looked at me but then kept going. Didn’t use a condom and then finished inside of me. He got off and as i was staring off he said sorry about not waiting. I mean, he is my husband so it’s fine right? Maybe he just got caught up? I don’t know how to feel about it. Maybe I should have been more adamant about waiting until I was ready.
