My son is 2.5 years old. We have been reading about potty for a while now. We had a potty chair ready for him in his eye sight but never forced him. One day suddenly he said he was going to be a big boy and said he wanted to use the potty. For the first two days he did not have even one accident. He still had his diaper for nap and sleep. He did both pee and poop in the potty. On day three and four he had about one or two accidents. We did not react and just changed his underwear. But by day five every pee and poop is an accident. I am not even kidding. He wets himself and then announces that his underwears are wet. This goes on for two days. So today i asked him if he wants to be in his underwear or diaper and he chooses diaper. I don’t know what made him to go back to diapers. Should we wait or should we encourage him to try again. I am just so bummed since we had a great start and then it becomes a failure. Pls help.
