Should I be concerned ??

I’m 20 weeks 1 day. I had my anatomy scan yesterday and everything went perfect, baby was healthy and moving around. However the US tech was extremely rough and moving my belly all around pretty hard to get baby to flip and move and it was overall very painful. Today I haven’t felt baby move at all. I know it’s probably still too early to count kicks but I was feeling her so much and today nothing. Is this cause to call my OB or am I overthinking this?? Tyia

Anytime you have a concern you can call your OB 😊 that is what they are there for. But I wouldn’t worry too much. At 20 weeks, still plenty of room for baby to move. Last pregnant I didn’t even feel my daughter until 22 weeks with an anterior placenta. Also, sometimes they have to be a little hard in order to get baby to move to get the correct measurements. Plenty of protection in there for baby to not be harmed. Hope this helps.

Baby is probably tired from the show. At that gestational age, they move around a lot to places that we can’t feel them and it’s scary, but if you’re really worried, give your OB a call. ❤️

Baby’s can sometimes go dormant especially at 20 weeks and have very small movements that are hard to feel but if you’re very worried it’s recommended to wait 24 hrs before calling for no movement
