AFTER D&C PROCEDURE?

I just had a D&C performed 3 days ago since there was no heartbeat found. Im having a tiny amount of spotting  but today I started getting hot flashes and bad cramps is that normal? no bleeding but I feel my hormones are going crazy. Please share what you went through after a D&C.

It’s normal. Hormones need to adjust as everything needs to go back to zero. Get a good heat pad, take some ibuprofen…. Warm showers help, just to stand there.

Hi Deanne, 
I bled for a full week (not heavily). And then it was 6 weeks until my next period. After that it was another 3 months until I returned to a ‘normal’ cycle. Every body is different. Allow your body plenty of time, and speak to your doctor if there is anything you are concerned about x
