Anyone experiencing postpartum depression ?

I started showing signs of postpartum depression about 6 weeks after my little girl was born. Anyone else who delivered in October experiencing this as well? What has been your experience? What has worked for you?

I started showing symptoms around 3 weeks PP. no joy motivation to do things I enjoy, crying every day, just overall feeling numb, thoughts of hurting myself and baby, snapping at my spouse, etc. I was not doing well. I went and spoke with the midwives at the hospital I went to and they got me started with a psychiatrist for medication. I was hesitant to start meds due to a bad experience a few years prior but I have been feeling better for the most part. Less crappy days. I have started doing some things that I enjoy again and trying to get out of the house to walk with friends a couple times a week for fresh air. I hope things start getting better for you! I know it is rough, hang in there and get the help you need!

What are your signs? 
I feel like maybe I’ve been feeling down lately. It’s very difficult juggling a two year old and a 3 month old. Ugh.

Yep, had it with my first child as well. I contacted mental health services two months ago, still waiting to see a therapist. Got a difficult newborn and toddler is in the terrible twos stage.

I believe I started showing signs as well. My little one was born on 10/30. I immediately started looking for a therapist. That’s what’s been working so far!
