Can side lying breastfeeding causes ear infection on your 16 weeks old baby?

My baby is currently 16 weeks. And i notice something on his ears it like yellow fluid coming out. I dont know if it is an earwax or what. And im thinking if aide lying breastfeeding causes this one?

Babies get ear wax. Use a damp washcloth and clean it out.

No. I’ve basically nursed my daughter side lying 95% of her life. She’s 16 months old now and still nurses often. No ear infections! 
Babies get ear wax as said above. Just gently clean it out! Make sure you don’t push anything inside the ear because you could damage the inner ear doing that. Just gently wipe what you can see on the outer portion.

We went to ENT doctor and he give us antipyrine Benzocaine. No infection only impacted ear wax. Thank you guys for all the replies. Now im at ease to continue the sidelying breastfeeding. God Bless you All.😍

My daughter is 3 and has never had an ear infection. When she was a baby, I pretty much only fed her side lying unless we weren’t at home. It’s probably just ear wax.
