Working out and being pregnant

So I’m 5 weeks and I wonder if I can continue to work out. I know I can’t lift heavy weights but I do still want to lift weights ( 10 pounds the most ). Is it safe ? Do I just stick to my daily walks ?

Whatever you were doing before baby is fine to do while pregnant as long as it's not dangerous/doesnt hurt you.

If your body is used to certain exercise pre-pregnancy its not too risky but still i would be cautious and exercise in less intensity.at least the first trimester (if you have any energy)

You just cant strain yourself. That said, I would strain myself a lot easier than a woman who lifts regularly. So you can do whatever you feel comfortable with so long as it doesnt feel too much for you. Even when I had placenta previa,,I was allowed to lift my toddler here and there, she was 20 pounds! So 10 pounds and youre used to it, should be fine.
