Self care/relaxation help?
Hey ladies!
I need some tips! I’m a SAHM with a 4 year old and a 16 month old. Both kiddos are pretty high needs and I feel like a mess these days lol.
I need some tips on a good get-started morning routine (just for myself, tho my kids are present because they wake up at 5 and I don’t have the energy to get up before that lol), and a bedtime routine (for myself) that should help me unwind.
Currently my morning routine is- get up, get my daughter a snack and let her play with her toys while I work out for 30 minutes, then I make the kids breakfast, make myself a smoothie, and I will wash face, brush/style hair (braids or ponytail usually, I have long hair), get dressed, (I do all of that for them too at that time) and take a minute to look at my calendar while they play.
Bedtime is rough because my daughter nurses SO MUCH still. Ideally I try to shower after we get the kids to bed, but I feel like I would benefit from a nice wind down routine and I’m at a loss for what might be a good idea at this point. Would love to see some examples of morning and nighttime routines that y’all do and love! Thank you! 😁
