Dry mouth and urination

I am seven weeks pregnant and the past few days I have found myself drinking lots of water and living on the toilet at the same time. Now I'm starting to wake up with a dry mouth. I just saw that this may be a sign gestational diabetes. What do you ladies think? Do you think it's gestational diabetes? I'm not due for blood work for another two weeks but I'm thinking of switching my appointment for next week.
