Do you take your kids outside every day to play?

I need to know that I’m not alone, but I really don’t like being outside. I always get bit by mosquitos and my kids always get so dirty. I take them to a playground/park every weekend or so unless it’s raining but during the week I really just don’t go outside. My oldest son gets recess at school and I do take my 2 year old to the store and whatnot but like actually playing outside? Nahhh. 🥴

With nice weather yes, winter is rough staying inside all the time but it's just too cold.

So where I live it rains basically 10 months out of the year. The other 2 months are filled with wildfires that get worse and closer every single Summer. To the point we've started making fire go boxes and leaving them in our trunk during Summer months. That said, on rare lovely days that aren't cold, super rainy, or so smokey you can't even see the sun and everything is bathed in orange/red... We will play outside. Or they'll work the ranch with us. Depending on the task and if it's safe for them to do so. If we're running equipment, they stay inside with mama. If we're moving the cows, they stay inside with me. Too unpredictable and I don't want them getting kicked or trampled. But like apple/pear harvest they help with. Gardening they help with. Random maintenance things they go with us. Checking the trails up the mountain they ride in the RT with us. They love the mountain RT rides. Occasionally they get a tractor ride. One at a time. They sit on dad's lap, he goes nice and slow, they have to wear ear protection. Our son was too little, but he did have our daughter sitting on his lap to help him move marshmallows into the bay. Put the squeeze on the tractor and moved them in. She had a blast. She's got her own little tractor toy now that she rides around when it's nice out. Little pink thing with a little trailer that hooks to it. She rides her stuffies around the yard 🤣 But yea. Between rain and smoke we don't get out a whole lot. As we can.

Yes, they are out playing as often as it's possible when home. We also live a place there it's safe for them to be outside alone to play, I just keep an eye on them through the window. 
At daycare/kindergarten they are also outside every day unless it's beyond horrible weather, and typically have one or two days a week where they are outside from the morning till we come pick them up.

Currently we don't because it's winter and I have asthma along with 2 of my 3 kids 😅 but when it's nice out yes we go out much as possible they love it outside !!!! We will spend hours out there and I'll even cook dinner on the grill for us sometimes

Not every day, but we go most days after school if the weather is nice. My son tends to have a much easier night if he's had a chance to run it out and I'd rather sit outside and let him go nuts than have him bounce off the walls indoors 😅 That being said, there are days I just don't want to and we come in and watch movies or play games instead.

Our kids go outside 2x a day at school/daycare as long as the temps are over 20F and it’s not raining. We all enjoy being outside so in the warmer months, we go right back out when we get home even if it’s just for a walk.

So cold here . And daycare takes them out 2x a day mon - Fri unless it’s below the cut off temp. So it is less pressure for me and just weekends & when we want to be outside . Which in warmer weather is basically always in and out of the back yard at least .

We are outside everyday, although during summer where it’s 40°+, we don’t go out til it’s cooler. Every evening after dinner he will bounce on his trampoline, even in the rain he will go outside and splash in the puddles. Nothing a warm bath won’t fix, there’s no such thing as bad weather just a bad outfit
