High blood pressure?

My husband hasnt been feeling well and i just measured his blood pressure and its at 135/89 he is 27 years old is this something to worry about or is it normal? He doesn’t want to go to the doctor!

Hi, doctor here. 
High blood pressure does not carry symptoms. However, being ill with a virus or other infection cause increase blood pressure. Being in pain, or stressed/nervous can as well. After eating a carb heavy or salt heavy meal will elevate it too. 
One reading of elevated blood pressure does not mean much. This is barely elevated, and could be caused by a long list of things.
What are his symptoms?

Lots of things can cause high BP. I personally wouldn’t become concerned until it stays above 140/90.

He needs to go to the Dr to get blood work done and an ultrasound. He might have fatty liver disease or other health problems. May need blood pressure medication for it.

First, taking your BP at home you need to be sure you’re doing it right and many things can sway the results. If he continues to get higher than normal readings he should see a doctor.
