Yeast infection home remedies?

I'm pretty sure I have a yeast infection but I'd rather not go through seeing a doctor (currently it would take a lot of effor & time for me to do so). Are there any home remedies to a yeast infection?

You can do apple cider vinegar in the shower. The acidity in the vinegar balances the alkaline imbalance. Or stick a clove of garlic in you over night. Sounds crazy but it works

Antihistamines / allergy tablets and hydrocortisone canesten cream to apply ... wprks a treat i get them regular the cream is around £5 to buy but after 1 application soothes sooo much the tablets help with the itching x

This isn't a home remedy, but Monistat is available at most drug stores and even some grocery stores and doesn't require a prescription. You can choose between a one day, a three day, and a seven day kit, depending on the intensity you're most comfortable with. They're not expensive at all and there are coupons available on their website!

I've tried eating lots of organic plain yoghurt and inserting some into vagina with a baby medicine syringe thing. Neither lasts longer than two days (I get thrush twice a month if I don't control my diet).
​Now, if feel an 'itch' coming on I take an acidophilus (good bacteria) tablet I got from my local health shop. I take them either once or twice daily while I'm trying to keep an infection at bay or get rid and I also take them when my diets been poor (high sugar and wheat). Tends to have longer lasting effects too
