General anaesthetic in second trimester
I’m currently 17+5 and have thyroid cancer which I was diagnosed with last month.
I have to have surgery on Thursday to remove my whole thyroid and surrounding lymph nodes due to the spread. The surgery is 7 hours under general anaesthetic.
Obviously I’m really worried about my baby girl and any reassurance on having a general anaesthetic during surgery would be greatly appreciated
